Privacy Policy
Greenup Studios is an independent music distribution company and recording studio in Miami Lakes, Florida. We collect only what we need to run your account, your tools and your campaigns. We don’t sell your information, and we don’t use advertising trackers in the app. This page explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

01What we collect
We collect information in three ways: what you give us, what our tools create for you, and what our systems record automatically.
Information you give us
- Account details. When you create an account in the app we ask for your first name, middle name (optional), last name, artist name, date of birth, email address, phone number and a password. Your password is stored only as a secure hash by our sign-in provider; we never see it.
- Profile photo. Optional. It shows on your account in the app.
- Support messages. Anything you send us by email.
Information the tools create
- Split sheets. The song title, the names, email addresses and percentages of everyone on the sheet, each person’s signature, and an audit trail of who signed when, including the IP address and device used to sign. This is what makes the sheet a valid record.
- Ad campaigns. The song or video link, the platform you picked, budget, dates, your brief and the contact details you give us so we can run the campaign and report back.
- Payments. Handled by Stripe. We receive the amount, date, card brand, the last four digits and a Stripe reference number. We never see or store full card numbers.
- Link pages. The links, titles and design choices you enter in the link generator. These pages are public by design; anyone with the address can open them.
- Distribution. Your releases, royalties and statements live in the Greenup distribution portal (powered by Revelator). It has its own sign-in and its own privacy terms; the app opens it in a browser.
Information collected automatically
- Technical logs. Our hosting providers keep standard server logs, such as IP address, device type and the time of a request, for security and to keep the service running.
- App settings. A few preferences, like whether you’ve seen the welcome pages, are stored on your device only.
We don’t run analytics or advertising trackers in the app, and we don’t collect your location.
02How we use it
- To create, secure and support your account.
- To provide the tools: send and store split sheets, generate link pages, resize cover art, run and report on ad campaigns.
- To process payments and send receipts.
- To email you about things you asked for: a split sheet to sign, a campaign update, a password reset, a reply to your message.
- To keep the service safe, prevent abuse and comply with the law.
- To understand how the tools are used so we can improve them.
We only send service emails. We won’t add you to a marketing list without asking, and any non-essential email you do get will have an unsubscribe link.
03Who we share it with
We share information only with the companies that help us run the service, and only what each one needs:
- Supabase — accounts, database and file storage (your profile, photo and split sheets).
- Netlify — hosts the website, the link pages and the app’s server functions.
- Stripe — payments for the ads service.
- Resend — sends our transactional emails, such as split-sheet invitations and signed PDFs.
- Revelator — the distribution and royalties portal you sign in to separately.
- Meta, Google and YouTube — when you buy an ad campaign we run it on their platforms. They receive the song or video link and the creative, not your account details.
We also share information when you ask us to (for example, everyone on a split sheet sees the other parties’ names, email addresses and percentages), when the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone’s safety, or with a buyer if Greenup Studios is ever sold or merged.
We don’t sell your personal information and we don’t share it for targeted advertising.
04How long we keep it
- Your account and profile — for as long as your account exists.
- Signed split sheets — a completed sheet is an agreement between the people on it, so we keep the final PDF and audit trail for seven years, even if one party deletes their account.
- Payment and campaign records — seven years, for tax and accounting.
- Server logs — about 30 days.
05Your choices
- Edit your profile in the app under Account.
- Delete your account in the app: Account, then Delete account. This removes your profile, photo, sign-in and the split sheets you created. Sheets other people sent you keep your name on them but lose the link to your account. Payment records stay with Stripe for our accounting. Deletion completes within 30 days.
- Ask for a copy of your information, or ask us to correct it, by emailing us.
06Age
You must be at least 13 to have an account. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 13; if you believe a child under 13 has an account, email us and we will delete it. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must approve any paid service and any agreement you sign, including split sheets.
07Security
Everything travels over encrypted connections, passwords are hashed, and access to your data is limited to the people and systems that need it. No method of storing or sending information is completely secure, so we can’t promise absolute security, but we take it seriously and will tell you if a breach affects you.
08Where your data lives
Greenup Studios is based in the United States and our providers store data on servers in the United States. If you use the service from another country, your information is transferred to and processed in the United States.
09Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, and to not be treated differently for exercising those rights. Email us at the address below and we will respond within 45 days. We don’t sell or share personal information for targeted advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of on that front.
10Changes to this policy
When we change this policy we update the date at the top. If a change is significant we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
